Just because Muslim women are expected to cover themselves, they don't have rights?  |
 Each religions has its own set of law, own set of beliefs that people has to live by. There will be people who will live their life by those laws and beliefs, while there will be some who will not. The religion Islam is a monotheistic religion and the second largest religion in the world. Today, there are about 1.57 billion Muslims. Islam believes that Muslim women should cover themselves either by wearing Hijab, which is the head covering, a Burqa, which is a full body covering or a Niqab, which is a veil that only leave the eyes part open. Good amount of people think that just because Muslim women has to cover themselves, they are not given enough rights. Many people, Muslims and non-Muslims, believe Islam needs to liberalize its views on women, but what they do not know is that it has already given many rights to women, almost since the beginning of Islam.
